I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 in the area of scientific visualization of 3D medical images, while working with the CISMM research group under my advisor, professor Russell Taylor.
After receiving my PhD, I worked as a senior visualization researcher with RENCI at UNC-CH for over three years before joining the EventLab in Barcelona in 2010.
My research interests include designing and implementing algorithms and applications for scientific visualization, computer graphics, visualization environments, virtual environments, image processing and analysis, and haptic interfaces.
